Two in five people in sub-Saharan Africa lack access to clean water. A baby in sub-Saharan Africa is almost 520 times more likely to die from diarrhoea than one born in Europe.

Amref Health Africa increases access to clean water, and in communities where we work, cases of diarrhoea and intestinal worms have dropped by about 70 per cent.
