Are you going to be in Edmonton on June 18th? Come and visit AMREF’s at Africa Connect!
Africa Connect is a full day of festivities celebrating the United Nations proclaiming 2011 the International Year for People of African Descent.
It is an opportunity to promote greater knowledge and respect for Africa’s diverse heritage and cultures within Edmonton.
At the event you can connect with members of Edmonton’s African community, learn about Africa’s vibrant cultures shop at a local African marketplace and be entertained by African musicians, poets and other artists.
AMREF will have a booth at the Africa Connect exhibition – so make sure you come by and say hi and learn more about our work improving health across Africa.
