AMREF's 2009 African Marketplace a Success!

This year AMREF Canada's African Marketplace Gala was a true success!
Special thanks to guest speaker Brian Stewart, longtime CBC foreign correspondent who shared his insights into the potential that exists within African communities.
AMREF Canada would also like to thank our guest of honour, AMREF Tanzania’s Country Director Blanche Pitt (pictured on the right with AMREF Canada's Anne-Marie Kamanye) and emcee Lotte Davis (pictured below) for their inspiring words and stories. Thanks to all of our corporate sponsors, donors and guests for joining us - and for your commitment to improving health in Africa.

more than 100 volunteers. We couldn't do it without you!
While we are still receiving and tallying donations we are happy to report the current net revenue to be approximately $193,000!
