AMREF’s strategic direction and priorities are set by AMREF Headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya.
Country offices in six African countries carry out AMREF’s health projects and work to influence policy and practices in their respective countries based upon specific strategies agreed on with AMREF Headquarters.
AMREF also has national offices in North America and Europe. These 12 national offices support AMREF's work in Africa by providing funding and technical support as well as by influencing policy and raising awareness of African health issues in their respective countries.
