Amref Health Africa International Health Conference

The Conference, in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO), brought together government leaders, researchers, health professionals, community-based organizations, and local health leaders to explore the theme: From Evidence to Action: Lasting Health Change in Africa.

The Conference tackled some of the most pressing health challenges in sub-Saharan Africa today with a focus on:

  • Reproductive health and maternal and neonatal child health
  • HIV, TB and Malaria
  • Water, Sanitation and Hygiene
  • New and emerging health priorities: non-communicable diseases (NCD) and neglected tropical diseases (NTD)
  • Innovation, technology and health
